Tow It Terms of Service
Overview
Effective date: 12 March 2026
Governing law: Republic of Ireland
1. About Tow It
Tow It operates a digital platform that connects customers with independent vehicle recovery and roadside providers. Tow It does not provide towing services directly and does not employ providers as staff.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using Tow It, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract.
3. Accounts and information
- You must provide accurate contact and service information.
- You are responsible for account security and activities under your account.
- You must notify Tow It promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Platform role and provider independence
- Providers are independent businesses, not Tow It employees or agents.
- Providers are responsible for licences, insurance, compliance, and service execution.
- Tow It operates matching, notifications, payment flow, and status orchestration as platform services.
5. Booking, pricing, and payments
- Pricing shown at checkout is based on available request data and platform rules at the time of booking.
- Tow It may place a payment authorization before final capture, depending on service state.
- Additional validated factors may affect final amounts where disclosed in the request flow or policy documents.
Cancellation and refund handling is governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
6. Communications
Tow It may send service-related communications by email, SMS, push, or WhatsApp for transactional purposes (for example booking updates, assignment, status, security, and support).
- Transactional messages are part of service delivery and account security.
- Marketing communications, where used, are optional and include opt-out controls.
7. Acceptable use
- No fraud, abuse, false requests, or unlawful use of the platform.
- No interference with platform security, availability, or normal operations.
- No misuse of provider or customer personal data.
8. Suspension and termination
Tow It may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, fraud risk, safety reasons, payment abuse, or legal requirements.
9. Liability and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by law, Tow It excludes indirect or consequential losses arising from provider-performed services. Nothing in these Terms excludes non-waivable statutory consumer rights under applicable law.
10. Disputes
Service-performance disputes should first be raised with support. Tow It may assist with operational records but is not required to adjudicate all provider-customer disputes.
11. Privacy and cookies
Personal data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. Cookie choices are managed via our cookie settings interface.
12. Changes to these Terms
Tow It may update these Terms. Material changes will be published on the platform and, where appropriate, notified by email or in-app notice.
